Description

  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain solutions that protect and monitor the network from threats such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, and NAC.
  • Analyze network traffic to identify anomalies and security threats.
  • Participate in projects to improve network security architecture and overall security posture.
  • Audit and review network security systems and configurations to ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Integrate network security tools with internal systems and workflows for incident handling and response.
  • Create automation tools to improve event analysis and operational efficiency.
  • Support network segmentation policies and enforce security requirements.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in information security and network security.
  • Solid understanding of network and security protocols, technologies, and tools.
  • Hands-on experience developing, integrating, and testing security solutions, and configuring and administering network equipment.
  • Experience with network security technologies such as NGFW, IDS/IPS, WAF, VPN, Proxy, Netflow, and FPC.
  • Ability to develop security policies, signatures, and rules for custom detection.
  • Proficient in Linux administration and the Linux network stack.
  • Familiarity with SIEM systems, incident response, evidence collection, and traffic analysis tools such as Wireshark.
  • Scripting skills for automation, such as Python and Bash.
  • Understanding of Zero Trust, network segmentation, and access control including NAC/802.1x.
  • Nice to have: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and MITRE ATT&CK, honeypots and deception technologies, cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, PKI security tools, and certifications such as CCNA/CCNP Security, OSCP, CEH, or Fortinet NSE.
