Description

  • Organize and analyze raw underwriting and rebate administration data to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines that clean, transform, and aggregate disparate data sources.
  • Develop and improve back-end systems for data extracts, pricing processes, and analytic tools using agile software development practices.
  • Model front-end views and back-end data sources to support end-to-end user experience and analytics visibility.
  • Troubleshoot and customize infrastructure code in SQL, R, and Python to resolve data and process issues.
  • Work with Underwriting and Clinical teams to develop complex algorithms and analytic insights.
  • Assist in developing new models and front-end tools for prediction and financial modeling and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data sources and analytic methodology.
  • Provide standard and ad-hoc analytics to support bid opportunities and rebate payment management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or IT.
  • 1+ year of experience with Python, SQL, and data visualization/exploration tools; R experience is a major plus.
  • 1+ year of experience in data analysis, such as financial analysis, actuarial services, accounting, pricing, or underwriting.
  • Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem, specifically Redshift and RDS.
  • Experience building or maintaining ETL processes.
  • Strong technical knowledge in software engineering and programming languages.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives and delivering in a time-constrained environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to nontechnical business leaders.
  • Highly organized, flexible, and detail-oriented.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical claims is a plus.

  • Remote, US salary range of $76,800–$121,000 USD.
  • New York, NY salary range of $96,000–$121,000 USD.
  • Denver, CO salary range of $88,800–$111,000 USD.
