Description

  • Lead, develop, and nurture partnering relationships with clients to secure project success and future opportunities.
  • Establish shared expectations with clients early in engagements and communicate design, construction, scope, and decision timing clearly throughout the project.
  • Lead project teams to develop project goals, work plans, budgets, schedules, and to meet quality, schedule, budget, innovation, and profitability objectives.
  • Manage the design and documentation process and oversee implementation of the design during construction, including ensuring statutory requirements are met.
  • Facilitate and maintain the work plan, budget, and schedule (preferred tools: MS Project, Deltek Project Planning) and manage scope changes and approvals proactively.
  • Maintain project records and documentation using CannonDesign standards, capture key decisions, and enforce QA/QC processes and technical quality standards.
  • Develop and implement risk management and compliance plans; identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Manage and coordinate team workload, provide leadership, mentoring, constructive feedback, and share lessons learned to build team capability.
  • Participate in business development, partner with Marketing and Office Leadership, and support contract negotiation with project leadership and Legal.
  • Implement CannonDesign Method and firm best practices, play a lead role in key meetings and presentations, and act as a proactive resource in technical and design decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
  • HCAI experience required.
  • Capability to perform project management for single or multiple projects.
  • Licensure or registration in the United States preferred.
  • LEED accreditation preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge in discipline and strong business acumen.
  • Strong client leadership skills and proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Strong project team management skills and ability to lead and mentor less experienced staff.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, MS Project, Deltek Vision, Bluebeam, and other data management software.

Benefits

  • Base salary range $117,000 to $146,200 annually (actual pay may vary by location, experience, education, and skill level).
