Description

  • Develop and lead global tax strategy across corporate income tax, transfer pricing, VAT/GST, withholding taxes, intercompany arrangements, and expansion planning.
  • Maintain global tax compliance and audit calendars covering filings, statutory requirements, audits, documentation, and regulatory deadlines.
  • Manage global tax advisors, audit partners, statutory audit firms, and local providers for quality, timeliness, accountability, and cost effectiveness.
  • Partner with Accounting and FP&A on tax provisions, cash tax forecasting, deferred taxes, uncertain tax positions, and board or investor reporting.
  • Own global audit governance, including consolidated financial statement audits, statutory audits, audit scopes, fees, milestones, escalations, and issuance of audited statements.
  • Coordinate statutory audits and local filings across all required countries with finance teams, audit firms, and external advisors.
  • Drive audit readiness by coordinating schedules, reconciliations, supporting documentation, financial statements, consolidation support, and auditor responses.
  • Oversee U.S. benefit plan audits and related regulatory reporting.
  • Track audit findings, control deficiencies, filing issues, recommendations, and remediation commitments through completion.
  • Lead acquisition tax workstreams, design transfer pricing policies, advise on cross-border tax matters, and build scalable tax controls and governance processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive tax, audit, controllership, statutory reporting, or financial compliance experience.
  • Experience with multinational corporate tax, transfer pricing, indirect tax, tax compliance, external audit coordination, and statutory audit management.
  • Experience managing external tax advisors, audit partners, and local providers across multiple jurisdictions.
  • CPA, JD, LLM in Tax, Chartered Tax Advisor, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting acquisition integration, global expansion, professional services, or project-based business models preferred.
  • Experience with audit committee reporting, management letter remediation, U.S. benefit plan audits, and multi-country auditor coordination preferred.
