Description

  • Develop hands-on programming courses using Brilliant’s Python learning game.
  • Design visual, puzzle-driven learning games covering algorithms, data structures, and computational thinking.
  • Break down complex concepts such as recursion, backtracking, and dynamic programming into approachable learning sequences.
  • Create clear, creative, and intuitive interactive content that builds learner confidence and mastery.
  • Build immersive problem-solving experiences that guide learners through CS concepts.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams on interactive features, visuals, and mechanics for desktop and mobile learning experiences.
  • Expand Brilliant’s library of computer science learning games.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or higher in a STEM field.
  • Strong computer science grounding developed through research or teaching beyond traditional curricula.
  • Extensive experience using AI coding agents and a perspective on core concepts for agentic coding education.
  • Ability to teach complex topics through clear, simple, hands-on progressions.
  • Experience building or using interactive learning experiences to engage and challenge learners, including asynchronously.
  • Excellent English writing skills for communicating challenging concepts.
  • Ability to context-switch and prioritize across a large workload.
  • Openness to experimenting with formats and platforms and contributing across all aspects of a project.
  • Submit examples of teaching computer science concepts interactively online.
  • Availability during core collaboration hours of 9:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Pacific.
