Description

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a high-performing software engineering team.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software solutions.
  • Prioritize development work, remove blockers, and ensure timely project delivery.
  • Manage multiple projects, budgets, timelines, risks, and issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements and project scope.
  • Maintain coding standards and hold the team accountable for deliverables.
  • Analyze root causes of technical issues and implement preventive solutions.
  • Evaluate and recommend development tools, methodologies, and process improvements.
  • Monitor team performance and foster innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate project progress, status, and issues to stakeholders and senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in a management or leadership role.
  • Experience managing high-performing engineering teams and delivering results.
  • Technical experience with Python, React, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience designing large-scale systems and working with big data systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, machine learning, or data analytics technologies (preferred).
