Description

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a high-performance team of software engineers.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software solutions.
  • Prioritize development efforts and unblock developers to keep projects on schedule.
  • Manage multiple software projects simultaneously and deliver them on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and timelines.
  • Monitor team performance, hold the team accountable for deliverables, and maintain coding standards.
  • Evaluate and recommend software development tools and methodologies.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and technical issues in software development projects.
  • Perform root cause analysis of technical issues and implement preventive solutions.
  • Communicate progress, status, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development.
  • 2+ years of experience in a management or leadership role.
  • Experience managing high-performance teams and driving results.
  • Strong technical skills in Python, React, and relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with large-scale system design and big data systems.
  • Familiarity with agile software development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes (nice to have).
  • Experience with DevOps practices such as continuous integration and delivery (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with machine learning and data analytics technologies (nice to have).
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect technology decisions to business objectives (nice to have).
  • Passion for developing and growing team members and building a positive team culture (nice to have).
