Description

  • Research, write, and deliver high-quality content to clients by specified deadlines.
  • Produce white papers, case studies, landing pages, infographic outlines, video blog scripts, and long-form articles from approved briefs.
  • Communicate directly with clients to support project success and client experience.
  • Edit peers’ work using Brafton’s editing marks and processes.
  • Collaborate with account management to ensure client goals are achieved.
  • Attend project, client, and team meetings virtually.
  • Track writing and editing production work daily in the company’s project management system.
  • Brainstorm and propose monthly content topics based on client briefs and industry needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, or Communications strongly preferred.
  • 1–3 years of relevant content marketing writing experience.
  • Strong writing and editing skills; writing clips are strongly preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of AP style.
  • Understanding of SEO keywords and branded writing concepts.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong phone presence for client calls and interviews.
  • Ability to collaborate with account management, sales, social media, video, and design teams.
  • Must be set up to work effectively from a home workspace and have industry-related hardware.
  • Comfortable working fully remote in their local time zone within South Africa.
