Description

  • Research, create, and revise high-quality travel and cruise content by assigned deadlines.
  • Write creative, SEO-optimized pieces for content marketing campaigns serving travel industry clients.
  • Work with Project Managers and Content Marketing Strategists to meet client expectations and goals.
  • Follow detailed client checklists for style, structure, organization, formatting, sourcing, and submission.
  • Participate virtually in project, client, and team meetings.
  • Track weekly writing and editing production in the company’s project management system.
  • Conduct research, interviews, and ideation to support ongoing content assignments.
  • Adapt content to precise client directions and branded writing standards.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of professional writing experience, including travel writing experience.
  • Extensive experience with travel and cruising.
  • Experience with ocean cruises, river cruises, and multiple cruising levels, including luxury.
  • A related degree, such as English or Journalism.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Comprehensive understanding of SEO and best practices for branded writing.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to quickly learn and write about complex subjects.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fully remote environment.
  • Strong videoconferencing presence for client meetings; AP Style knowledge is a plus.
