Description

  • Work closely with Product Managers and Customer Success to deepen customer understanding, clarify ambiguous feedback, and conduct regular customer interviews.
  • Help product teams stay accountable to maintaining strong NPS.
  • Partner with Customer Success and Sales to identify blockers and friction in product demos and onboarding.
  • Design and coordinate efficient, cost-effective solutions by aligning internal and external resources to resolve onboarding and demo issues.
  • Collaborate with Product Designers to uncover local usage patterns and established habits and apply those insights in early testing so design specs entering development are closely tailored to customers.
  • Support product discovery and prioritization by helping identify real user problems and inform decisions about what to build (and what not to build).
  • Support product launches and go-to-market efforts and coordinate across functions to move initiatives forward.

Requirements

  • Strong bilingual communication skills in Japanese and English (e.g., experience in foreign/multinational companies, long-term education, or life experience abroad).
  • Hands-on experience talking directly with customers (customer interviews, feedback calls, on-site visits, or workshops).
  • Experience working in fast-moving environments where priorities change and coordinating across multiple teams.
  • Ability to evaluate problems from multiple angles—user impact, business opportunity, and risk—and help prioritize what matters most.
  • Experience navigating different team goals and KPIs and finding practical ways to move everyone forward together.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and demonstrated ability to learn on the fly and pick up new skills, tools, or domains.
  • Experience in roles that require wearing many hats (e.g., Associate Product Manager, Consultant, Analyst, Project Coordinator/Assistant, Product Marketing, or Growth).
  • Exposure to legal training or experience as a legal professional, or participation in legal department work (strong plus).
  • Non-technical background acceptable; curiosity, learning speed, intellectual agility, and strong collaboration skills are emphasized.
