Description

  • Build and maintain sophisticated, multi-tab operating models with dynamic drivers, scenario analysis, and sensitivity frameworks that connect topline strategy to financial and operational implications.
  • Own demand forecasting and predictive modeling across Amazon, DTC, and wholesale channels to inform production planning, inventory positioning, SKU rationalization, and working capital optimization.
  • Conduct scenario planning and risk assessments to balance margin, cash flow, service levels, and operational constraints (MOQs, lead times, shipping trade-offs).
  • Perform rigorous business intelligence and performance analysis across channels, products, and customer cohorts, surfacing trends, risks, and strategic opportunities.
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, product, and finance to align priorities, translate business questions into quantitative frameworks, and ensure analytical rigor in decision-making.
  • Prepare executive-ready materials for board meetings, investor updates, and executive reviews, and deliver clear, data-backed recommendations.
  • Lead or support strategic projects including new channel expansion, product portfolio strategy, operational efficiency programs, and M&A or partnership evaluation.
  • Respond to urgent ad hoc analysis requests with rapid, rigorous modeling and actionable recommendations.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in M&A or coverage investment banking at a bulge bracket or elite boutique firm OR private equity at a top-tier firm.
  • Mastery of sophisticated financial modeling, including complex LBOs, dynamic driver-based operating models, multi-tab integrated financial statements, and extensive sensitivity analyses.
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort building complex model architecture, data tables, and scenario models.
  • Exceptional analytical rigor with experience pressure-testing assumptions and extracting meaningful insights from data.
  • Strategic thinker with operational pragmatism and the ability to translate topline strategy into detailed operational plans and financial implications.
  • Clear, compelling communicator capable of distilling complex analysis into concise, executive-ready recommendations.
  • Highly organized and execution-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving, small-team environment.
