Description

  • Manage end-to-end Procurement Solution implementations, from kickoff through configuration, training, go-live, and timeline management.
  • Configure and validate system data, workflows, outcomes, pricing and contract details, and wholesaler and purchasing data feeds.
  • Serve as the primary pre-go-live customer contact through weekly meetings, ad hoc calls, and email communications.
  • Manage multiple concurrent implementation projects across customers with varying purchasing structures, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Advise pharmacy and purchasing teams on cost-savings optimization, 340B compliance, and GPO and contract alignment.
  • Train stakeholders on CostCheck savings methodology, 340BCheck compliance and audit workflows, and ShortageCheck medication tracking.
  • Coordinate technical and pricing configuration with customers, wholesalers, GPOs, and internal Clinical, Product, and Development teams.
  • Maintain project plans, tickets, and documentation for visibility and on-time delivery.
  • Mentor implementation teammates on purchasing, supply, and cost-related workflows.
  • Travel to customer sites as needed to support rollouts and meet key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, pharmacy, healthcare management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in hospital pharmacy purchasing, procurement, buying, or pharmacy cost-savings optimization.
  • 2+ years of project management and/or client-facing experience, ideally in implementations.
  • Healthcare industry experience, ideally in hospital pharmacy or health-system purchasing.
  • Ability to analyze financial and operational data, assess savings performance, and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with purchasing, pharmacy, and finance stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, adapt to change, solve ambiguous problems, and maintain close attention to detail.
  • Willingness to mentor less-senior teammates and collaborate across functions.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the United States; applicants must reside in the continental United States.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy cost-savings programs, 340B requirements, and GPOs; CPhT or ACE certification, Excel, SQL, and EMR/ADC or wholesaler-platform experience are preferred.
