Description

  • Handle and review assigned SAR cases within defined SLAs and recommend next steps to stakeholders.
  • Maintain and manage the SAR escalation log and ensure all escalations are promptly reviewed and resolved.
  • Maintain the client off‑boarding log and support the client off‑boarding process as required.
  • Escalate cases to the team lead and relevant MLROs when there are grounds for suspicion or when guidance is required.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to improve the quality, consistency, and accuracy of SARs.
  • Use and operate compliance tools and applications as part of investigations (e.g., Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic, Kodex, World-Check).
  • Participate in internal and external programs related to AML/CFT and other subject matter relevant to day‑to‑day responsibilities.
  • Perform general administration and ancillary activities related to SAR casework and compliance functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in investigations (including filing SARs), audit, or regulatory roles at a financial institution or fintech.
  • Proven experience filing SARs and conducting financial investigations.
  • Proficiency with compliance/forensics tools and programs such as Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic, Kodex, World-Check, or similar platforms.
  • Good knowledge of local laws, directives, and regulations applicable to subject persons; familiarity with upcoming virtual currency regulations is a strong plus.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail with an action-oriented mindset and high standards for output.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, time management, analytical, and investigative skills.
