Description

  • Own end-to-end quality for the Live Streaming and Content domain from requirements review through release sign-off.
  • Lead cross-platform testing across app, web, backend, and admin systems to identify end-to-end risks.
  • Design and execute test cases for live streaming features such as stream start/end, co-streaming, cross-room connections, playback, and compliance.
  • Test edge cases including weak network conditions, stream drops, backgrounding, and high-concurrency scenarios.
  • Maintain and extend the automation regression framework using Python, pytest, and k6.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, compliance, and operations to resolve quality issues quickly.
  • Contribute to AI-assisted testing initiatives and maintain the team knowledge base.
  • Review and improve other team members’ test cases and code when needed.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of QA experience in internet, fintech, or content platform companies.
  • Live streaming testing experience, including end-to-end testing of stream start, co-streaming, push/pull streaming, interactive features, and playback.
  • Comfort with agile release cycles, including 2–3 week sprints, grey rollouts, and full releases.
  • Ability to independently own test coverage and review other people’s test cases and code.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills and the ability to proactively flag risks.
  • Basic Python automation skills to read, extend, and maintain existing test scripts.
  • Strong sense of ownership and focus on quality, not just coverage metrics.
  • Experience in Web3, crypto, content community, or fintech environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with k6, JMeter, or other performance testing tools is preferred.
  • API testing experience with tools such as Postman, packet capture, or spec-driven testing is preferred.
  • Experience with AI-assisted testing or AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor is preferred.
  • Background in content moderation, anti-spam, or compliance testing is preferred.
  • SQL or data validation skills are preferred.
