Description

  • Scope, estimate, design, and deliver medium-to-large software features while reducing technical debt.
  • Develop backend systems and user interfaces using test-driven development.
  • Contribute to APIs, specifications, and data models supporting frontend and third-party integrations.
  • Design, maintain, and optimize data interactions for performance, scalability, integrity, and security.
  • Design and develop user interfaces based on UX designs and customer needs.
  • Contribute to functional and non-functional automated testing suites.
  • Follow team processes to deliver a consistent flow of features to production.
  • Support teammates and help improve team effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong experience with Python and Apache Spark.
  • Understanding of data modeling, ETL, orchestration, and distributed computing.
  • Strong knowledge of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with analytic programming, data extraction, database or data warehouse querying, and data analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong problem-solving, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • AWS experience with services such as S3, EC2, Glue, or Lambda (preferred).
  • Experience with R or SAS (preferred).
  • Professional Databricks or Apache Spark certification(s) (preferred).
  • US citizenship or Green Card, at least three years of US residency, and eligibility to obtain Public Trust clearance; sponsorship is not offered.
