Description

  • Receive, document, and process incoming referrals from hospitals, physicians, and other medical professionals.
  • Ensure referral information is complete, accurate, and thorough.
  • Follow up with local branches to support timely responses to referral sources.
  • Coordinate communication among Case Managers, Client Services Managers, Clinical Nurse Managers, and Field Nurses.
  • Provide payer information to the internal Insurance Verification team.
  • Deliver professional, high-quality customer service to patients, referral sources, and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of customer service, administrative, or professional experience preferred but not required.
  • Healthcare, contact center, or referral intake experience highly preferred.
  • Ability to work simultaneously across multiple systems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Flexibility to work either five 8-hour days or four 10-hour days, including one weekend day weekly.
  • Ability to complete initial training Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. ET, for approximately two months.
