Description

  • Design, build, and implement new services through the full development cycle, delivering well-tested, production-quality code.
  • Build libraries and internal frameworks to accelerate development and improve developer efficiency.
  • Work directly with the CEO, CTO, and product team to make architecture and design decisions, and contribute to product strategy.
  • Participate in agile rituals including stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives to drive the engineering culture.
  • Act as an engineering generalist by developing servers and databases, integrating third-party APIs, and implementing final UI features.
  • Take end-to-end ownership and responsibility for large projects or product areas across the full development lifecycle.
  • Scale and automate existing services while bringing new features and innovations from 0 to 1.

Requirements

  • Proven full-stack generalist with experience taking a product from 0 to 1.
  • Fluency with Next.js, Drizzle, and SST (serverless platform).
  • Must have TypeScript and Three.js experience.
  • Strong frontend skills with React and JavaScript.
  • Backend experience with Node, SQL, and serverless tooling (SST/Drizzle).
  • Ability to work independently and own entire projects or large areas of the codebase.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical problems, constraints, and timelines.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, unstructured startup environment.
  • Experience building paid products and services is preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to roll up sleeves to get the work done.
