Description

  • Set the global direction and vision for Base’s Amazon-related products and lead the area end-to-end.
  • Develop and manage a long-term, global product roadmap that prioritizes markets (North America, Europe, Asia) and Amazon programs such as FBA, Seller-Fulfilled Prime, and Amazon Advertising.
  • Monitor Amazon policy changes, SP-API updates, and competitor and third-party tool trends to inform product decisions.
  • Build internal expertise on the Amazon platform across the organization.
  • Conduct regular interviews and operational analyses with international sellers to identify their listing, inventory, logistics, advertising, and brand-protection challenges.
  • Translate customer and market insights into clear, high-level product requirements for product and engineering teams.
  • Define, measure, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data-driven decisions to steer the product.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure product initiatives deliver measurable value to sellers worldwide.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience working on B2B SaaS products, supported by examples from Product Manager or Product Owner roles.
  • In-depth, practical knowledge of the Amazon ecosystem gained as a seller, consultant, or developer of Amazon-integrated tools.
  • Familiarity with differences between Amazon markets (e.g., US, Germany, India) and the ability to design solutions that work across local environments.
  • Understanding of the full Amazon seller lifecycle, including product listing, inventory management, logistics, advertising campaigns, and brand protection.
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to synthesize data, customer conversations, and competitor activity into a coherent product vision and actionable plan.
  • Familiarity with Amazon platforms: Seller Central, Vendor Central, Amazon Advertising Console (Sponsored Products/Brands/DSP), and Brand Registry.
  • Experience with Amazon programs: Fulfillment by Amazon (including Pan-European and EFN) and Seller Fulfilled Prime (SFP).
  • Deep understanding of the capabilities and limitations of the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API).
