Description

  • Lead end-to-end deployments as the primary post-sale point of contact, including pre-deployment planning, hardware logistics, stakeholder alignment, on-site support, and go-live enablement.
  • Deliver role-based training to customer drone teams, public safety operators, command staff, and IT teams, tailoring content for non-technical and technical audiences.
  • Guide customers in creating operational policies and workflows that integrate Dedrone systems with broader agency technology stacks (e.g., Axon Evidence, body-worn cameras, in-car video).
  • Coordinate and manage third-party training and integration vendors, ensuring accountability and delivery quality.
  • Conduct site assessments to determine optimal hardware placement and operational design.
  • Create, iterate, and maintain deployment documentation, SOP templates, training plans, and internal handoffs.
  • Provide post-deployment monitoring and escalation management, aligning stakeholders on success metrics, issues, and resolutions.
  • Capture and relay customer feature requests, bug reports, and process gaps to Product and Engineering teams.
  • Support and participate in POCs: setup, training, validation of success criteria, and customer debriefs.
  • Support sales enablement activities by attending strategic customer meetings, assisting with technical validation, contributing to RFP/RFI responses, and drafting/validating Statements of Work (SOWs).

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in customer-facing roles (Professional Services, Field Engineering, Sales Engineering, Deployment).
  • Direct experience deploying hardware/software solutions in complex operational environments.
  • Understanding of drone systems, airspace management, RF sensing, or UAS programs (FAA Part 107 certification preferred or to be obtained within 3 months).
  • Deep familiarity with IP networking, SNMP, DHCP, PoE, Linux CLI, and basic system administration.
  • Confident training and presentation skills for executives, end users, and technical teams.
  • Experience working with public safety agencies, particularly law enforcement or security operations.
  • Project and stakeholder management skills with the ability to own deployments from kickoff to success.
  • Willingness and ability to travel heavily (approximately 80% across LATAM, Central/South America, and the Caribbean) and adapt to dynamic field conditions.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and be physically capable of climbing ladders, stairs, and working in elevated environments.
  • Passion for emerging technology, safety, and customer success; legal eligibility to work in a firearms environment may be required for some roles.
