Description

  • Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, hardware, and software components.
  • Develop and implement strategies for capacity planning, performance optimization, and disaster recovery.
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of IT services through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
  • Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, including network engineers, system administrators, and support staff.
  • Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and provide coaching and mentorship to team members.
  • Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect IT infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices, including GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO/IEC 27001.
  • Conduct security assessments, audits, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, including contract negotiation and SLA oversight.
  • Lead infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, managing plans, budgets, timelines, risks, and resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a master's degree or relevant certifications such as Cisco or Microsoft is a plus.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in IT infrastructure management with a proven track record of leading infrastructure teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including networking, servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
  • Experience with Veeam, SQL, Office 365, and VMware is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in network and system administration, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Strong understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL and project management methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
