Description

  • Develop creative and strategic ideas and tactics that address client marketing challenges.
  • Create on-brand, accurate messaging aligned with campaign strategy.
  • Collaborate with creative, account management, and other agency teams.
  • Reference and annotate work according to AMA style.
  • Execute copy concepts from initial development through final completion.
  • Manage assigned projects to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, graphic arts, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 4 years of creative copywriting experience at a medical communications or advertising agency.
  • Experience producing print and digital materials, including sales aids, brochures, flashcards, eblasts, and websites.
  • Pharmaceutical advertising agency experience required.
  • Portfolio demonstrating tactical and conceptual expertise in at least one therapeutic area.
  • Thorough knowledge of AMA style.
  • Strong customer service, oral communication, and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, professional, detail-oriented, and committed to quality.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Advanced PC or Mac skills with Microsoft Office Suite and functional experience using Adobe Acrobat Pro.
