Description

  • Own the design direction for GenAI-enabled experiences across one or more enterprise web applications or workstreams.
  • Define and evolve UX principles and interaction patterns for human-led, AI-assisted workflows.
  • Translate ambiguous problem spaces into prototypes, experiments, and shipped product increments in partnership with Product and Engineering.
  • Lead discovery and evaluative testing for AI experiences, including concept tests, usability tests, preference tests, and contextual workflow testing.
  • Define success metrics with Product and iterate based on qualitative and quantitative signals.
  • Design trust, transparency, guardrails, and governance into the experience in collaboration with Legal/Compliance, InfoSec, and domain experts.
  • Evolve the global design system with AI-ready components and patterns.
  • Lead critiques and design reviews to maintain a high quality bar.
  • Manage and mentor designers, strengthening product thinking, interaction design, AI UX craft, and workflow optimisation.
  • Contribute to an experimental, evidence-driven design culture.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product design experience, preferably with complex enterprise web applications.
  • At least 1 year in a lead capacity, such as workstream or strategy ownership.
  • Familiarity with AI UX concepts and experience designing GenAI features beyond chat interfaces.
  • Ability to design for trade-offs between helpfulness, safety, latency, and accuracy.
  • Strong interaction design skills for complex workflows and the ability to simplify without oversimplifying.
  • Confidence as a research practitioner, including planning workshops, synthesising insights, and influencing decisions with evidence.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in regulated or high-trust domains.
  • An outstanding portfolio demonstrating relevant experience.
  • A degree in design, psychology, business, statistics, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is a plus.
