Description

  • Write effective promotional copy and serve as the primary copywriter on at least one product.
  • Review work produced by direct reports, including final manuscripts where applicable.
  • Supervise senior copywriters, copywriters, and junior copywriters as applicable.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of assigned therapeutic categories.
  • Participate in strategic promotional planning for assigned products.
  • Ensure compliance with the editorial process.
  • Demonstrate mastery of the manuscript submission process, including referencing and regulatory details.
  • Partner with Art Directors to develop creative concepts and executions for assigned products.
  • Present concepts and promotional materials to the client.
  • Assist with product launches.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of professional writing experience, including at least 2 years of pharmaceutical advertising copywriting experience.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • A demonstrated track record of independently producing successful, compelling, and strategically sound pharmaceutical promotional materials in 2 or more therapeutic categories.
  • Comfortable working within tight deadlines.
  • Advanced Mac experience with Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite.
  • Experience working across 2 or more therapeutic categories (required).
  • Ability to manage manuscript submission, referencing, and regulatory details for assigned products.
  • Experience reviewing and approving work from direct reports (preferred).
