Description

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on federal and state statutory and regulatory health policy issues impacting the pharmaceutical and biotech sector, with emphasis on vaccine policy.
  • Support and help manage project teams to solve complex client problems and develop novel solutions.
  • Manage multiple clients and short- and long-term deliverables to meet client needs.
  • Provide timely client support with minimal management oversight while handling complex issues.
  • Manage a defined number of Associates and mentor colleagues to build consulting skills and expertise.
  • Analyze regulatory, legislative, and policy developments and translate findings into actionable client recommendations.
  • Conduct and support primary market research, including IDIs and advisory boards, and synthesize findings for client strategy.
  • Collaborate with project leaders and subject matter experts to execute projects and deliver advisory services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in health policy, public policy, healthcare management, public health, public administration, health economics, business administration, or a relevant discipline.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in healthcare consulting, a vaccine manufacturer, or a similar role focused on policy and market access, marketing, or commercialization for vaccine products.
  • Knowledge of U.S. vaccine policy and market access, including pricing, contracting, and reimbursement across Medicare, Medicaid, VFC, Section 317, Universal Purchase states, and commercial markets.
  • Demonstrated experience managing primary market research projects, including IDIs and advisory boards with payers, IDNs, public health providers, and other decision-makers.
  • Experience in project management, including tracking budgets, meeting timelines, and managing client engagement.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts to executives.
  • Preferred experience developing market access resources and promotional or non-promotional materials, including managing MLR review cycles and using Veeva Vault.
  • Preferred ability to build qualitative business cases for novel vaccine products using access frameworks, distribution and contracting models, provider economics, reimbursement adequacy, and channel strategy.
  • Experience supervising staff members, analyzing policy proposals or regulation, synthesizing scientific literature, and using advanced Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
