Description

  • Support remote deployment of autonomous haulage systems across multiple mine sites, including truck bring-up, rover installation, and system commissioning.
  • Track and document site-level issues such as equipment faults, communications failures, and installation delays, and escalate blockers to field operations and engineering.
  • Coordinate remotely with customer site teams on permitting, work authorizations, and equipment or route readiness.
  • Monitor production and administrative delays against project milestones and maintain structured trackers for stakeholder visibility.
  • Support remote customer training sessions on Pronto technology and assist with handover documentation for mine operations teams.
  • Serve as a remote point of contact for routine operational questions and provide regular status updates to Pronto HQ.
  • Help monitor safety compliance and site-specific protocols by coordinating with on-site personnel and flagging gaps for follow-up.
  • Travel short-term to customer sites when hands-on troubleshooting or in-person coordination is required.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of experience in mining, heavy equipment, or industrial field operations.
  • Comfort working remotely on active mine site projects in production- and safety-critical environments.
  • Prior exposure to technology rollouts such as autonomy, remote operations, telematics, or machine control systems is a strong plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to track multiple open issues across sites and time zones.
  • Comfortable working asynchronously and coordinating across international time zones.
  • Willingness to travel short-term, from a few days to a couple of weeks, when sites require in-person support.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills for coordinating across customer and internal teams.
  • Degree in Mining Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on industry experience is preferred.
