Description

  • Build and design player-facing menus, UI, and HUD systems using C++ and Blueprint.
  • Design intuitive interfaces using UMG and CommonUI.
  • Integrate with existing gameplay systems and develop new gameplay systems for an open-world simulation game.
  • Work within and extend established gameplay architectures.
  • Share knowledge, mentor, and support colleagues in your area of expertise.
  • Champion engineering quality across the team.
  • Partner with engineers, designers, and artists to deliver player-facing features.

Requirements

  • Proven experience developing UI and gameplay systems in Unreal Engine 5.
  • Strong understanding of UMG.
  • Working knowledge of CommonUI, CommonInput, Enhanced Input, and how these systems interact.
  • Solid knowledge of C++.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Experience identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks in UI and gameplay systems.
  • Experience with Slate is a bonus.
  • Experience developing systemic games, including emergent mechanics, interlocking systems, simulation-driven worlds, sandbox, or co-op titles, is a bonus.
  • Experience in social, frontend, or gameplay-adjacent areas of game development is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with developing games for multiple platforms is a bonus.
