Description

  • Lead, mentor, grow and hire for the engineering team, fostering ownership of software quality.
  • Own technical delivery, code quality, release discipline and technical decisions in alignment with Manos Group architecture and standards.
  • Model and introduce agentic development practices, including specifications, agent-sized tasks, reviews and testing.
  • Translate agreed use cases into end-to-end, tested product capabilities using AI coding agents.
  • Shape the new platform’s data model, multi-tenant SaaS architecture, APIs, integrations and agentic features.
  • Build reliable, cost-aware AI product features such as assistants, smart search, forecasting and administrative automation.
  • Own the health and safe evolution of the live legacy platform across customized client installations.
  • Plan and execute phased client migrations from on-premise systems to the new cloud product without disrupting operations.
  • Implement and own automated testing, CI/CD, infrastructure as code and observability.
  • Partner with product, professional services, support and leadership to align technical priorities with client and business needs.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of professional software development experience, including 2+ years leading engineers or owning a production system.
  • Demonstrable day-to-day use of AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor or GitHub Copilot agents to ship production code.
  • Experience specifying, steering and verifying agent-generated work, and helping other engineers adopt agentic development.
  • Hands-on experience building product AI features using LLM APIs, prompting, retrieval, evaluation and guardrails.
  • Strong backend expertise in a modern stack such as .NET/C#, Python, Node.js or Go.
  • Strong relational database experience, including SQL Server design, migrations and performance tuning.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS or GCP, automated testing and CI/CD.
  • Ability to safely modernize and maintain mature production codebases.
  • Fluent written and spoken English, with the ability to explain technical trade-offs to non-engineers.
  • Spanish is strongly preferred; experience with multi-tenant SaaS, on-premise-to-cloud migrations, IaC, observability, legacy Microsoft/PHP environments, MCP, EU AI regulations, payments or sports-management software is preferred.
