Description

  • Design, develop, and evaluate novel AI techniques to improve ASAPP’s products.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to support projects during research and post-research phases.
  • Build and maintain research datasets, infrastructure, and toolkits.
  • Work with other teams to identify and prioritize research opportunities.
  • Apply research advances to real-world product use cases and data.
  • Contribute to the success of projects in a fast-paced startup environment.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in machine learning or a related area, or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant academic or industrial research experience.
  • Research experience in Conversational AI, Speech systems, LLMs, or Machine Learning.
  • Strong software engineering skills and experience.
  • Peer-reviewed publications in any area of machine learning (preferred).
  • Experience in speech systems research and engineering (preferred).
  • Experience fine-tuning LLMs (preferred).
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with a diverse team in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Scientific curiosity and tenacity to solve hard research problems.
