Description

  • Assist in leading the integration of a custom application with client-based systems.
  • Work cross-functionally in an Agile environment.
  • Build FastAPI services for content display.
  • Create microservices and support API development and integration.
  • Work across front-end and back-end codebases.
  • Build ETL processes.
  • Mentor peers and junior developers in Python design.
  • Collaborate independently and with others to meet emerging client needs.
  • Work directly with the Project Manager to support project delivery and client requests.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of solid Python development experience.
  • 8+ years of overall object-oriented programming experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or 2 additional years of experience in place of the degree.
  • Experience with API development and integration.
  • Experience with microservices.
  • Experience with JavaScript and jQuery.
  • Experience with search engines such as Solr or Elasticsearch.
  • Experience designing and developing enterprise web and search systems.
  • Experience with enterprise database technologies such as Postgres and MySQL.
  • Experience building and managing container technologies such as Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes.
  • Comfort working with open source-based solutions.
  • Familiarity with enterprise use of Python.
  • Expertise in continuous integration and continuous delivery solutions.
  • Experience with large-scale AWS-based solutions and Terraform.
  • Agile environment experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with the federal government preferred.
  • Experience with FastAPI strongly preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability Determination.
  • Public Trust eligibility required; sponsorship is not available.
  • Occasional travel of less than 10% may be required.
