Description

  • Collaborate with the Senior Product Manager to shape, challenge, and deliver the product roadmap.
  • Define problems, hypotheses, and product requirements based on customer needs and feedback.
  • Work with Engineering and Product Design to assess assumptions, risks, and solution feasibility.
  • Support delivery planning through iterative sprint cycles and regular team ceremonies.
  • Break down product initiatives into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
  • Define business rules, data validations, and error-handling scenarios for technical solutions.
  • Document current and future-state workflows using diagrams and system schemas.
  • Partner with security and compliance stakeholders to meet data protection and payment security requirements, including PCI compliance.
  • Identify, track, and manage technical cross-team dependencies that could affect the roadmap.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for 2nd Line Support, triaging escalated bugs and customer issues.
  • Prioritise support work alongside roadmap delivery, balancing bugs, maintenance, and technical debt.
  • Use feedback, metrics, research, and testing to inform product decisions and measure impact.
  • Communicate milestones, progress, and plan changes to stakeholders.
  • Foster collaboration and shared learning across the team and wider departments.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a technical business analysis role.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and customer success.
  • Experience handling complex technical requirements across multiple domains.
  • Comfortable working with remote teams.
  • Strong ability to use data and metrics to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to persuade and justify decisions.
  • Proven experience working on payments products.
  • Experience in the Payments, Finance, or EdTech sector is desirable.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, AI-native environment with multiple internal stakeholders.
  • Passion for building user-centric products that make a difference.
