Description

  • Monitor and triage security alerts, logs, and system activity to identify potential threats or suspicious behavior.
  • Support investigation, initial containment, and response activities for security events and incidents.
  • Operate and maintain endpoint protection, identity security, vulnerability tracking, and security monitoring tools.
  • Assist with identity and device security controls, including user and system onboarding and offboarding.
  • Help enforce authentication and access policies across company platforms and cloud services.
  • Track, prioritize, and coordinate remediation of vulnerabilities across applications, infrastructure, and third-party systems.
  • Support continuous improvement of detection, logging, alert visibility, and security monitoring capabilities.
  • Maintain incident documentation, timelines, evidence records, and operational security procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and operations teams to support secure system practices and security awareness.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or technical IT roles.
  • Practical knowledge of endpoint security, identity management, or security monitoring concepts.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms and SaaS-based environments.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability management practices and security risk concepts.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to investigate technical issues and follow structured response processes.
  • Clear written communication and documentation skills.
  • Comfortable working remotely in a distributed, asynchronous team environment.
  • Preferred experience supporting security monitoring, incident response, or vulnerability tracking.
  • Exposure to application or cloud security practices is preferred.
  • Basic scripting or automation experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell is preferred.
  • Familiarity with common cybersecurity frameworks or security standards is preferred.
  • Security+ , SSCP, or similar cybersecurity certifications are a plus.
