Description

  • Design, build, and operate high-scale data ingestion pipelines.
  • Design, build, and operate data normalization pipelines across multiple data stores.
  • Work on company-critical projects that bring user data into the platform’s data stores and make it available for analysis.
  • Collaborate with product management to define non-functional requirements and implement them in engineering services.
  • Deploy and monitor cloud and data lake resources across providers such as AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, and Splunk.
  • Apply best practices for data pipelines in day-to-day engineering work.
  • Share knowledge through mentorship, documentation, and brown bag sessions.
  • Help balance technical foundation work with product timelines while improving service reliability and performance.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of software development experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with data lakes such as Snowflake or Databricks.
  • Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experience defining non-functional requirements, measuring SLOs, and balancing technical foundation work with product timelines.
  • Ability to quickly learn a Python-based data pipeline stack deployed on Snowflake and Databricks via AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Experience ingesting large amounts of user data into Snowflake or Databricks is preferred.
  • Experience deploying services using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, AWS SAM, CloudFormation, or CDK is preferred.
  • Experience with observability tools such as Grafana and Sentry is preferred.
  • Some experience with LLMs, including Agents, RAG, Tools, and popular frameworks, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with security data such as endpoint and network logs is preferred.
