Description

  • Prepare test and diagnostic programs, test procedures, and test fixtures.
  • Lead the commissioning, development, integration, and release of test stations into full production.
  • Define and deliver training and sustaining activities needed to deploy test stations successfully.
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation for test requirements, plans, procedures, results, and ECO activity.
  • Support contract electronics manufacturing partners through continuous product improvement across the lifecycle.
  • Participate in NPI, quality, and yield meetings and analyze production trends.
  • Develop strategies to reduce test time and cost while improving time to market.
  • Perform root cause analysis, error proofing, and corrective actions to support manufacturing processes.
  • Build test equipment and execute test procedures to validate design decisions.
  • Travel to test sites and remote labs as needed and remain flexible for project assignments.

Requirements

  • Third-level qualification in computing, engineering, or a science-related subject.
  • 5 years of experience testing complex products in production environments.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and circuit schematics.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, including SPC and Six Sigma knowledge.
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work under tight schedules.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of automated test scripts such as LabVIEW, VB, and Python.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for project assignments.
  • Valid driver's license.
