Description

  • Develop, implement, and manage the SCI security program in compliance with ICDs, SCGs, Statements of Work, and other applicable security policies.
  • Perform personnel security duties, including SCI access validation, eligibility processing, polygraph requests, nomination interviews, investigative requests, and security briefings.
  • Provide physical security support for badging, access control, visitor control, and maintaining current SCIF documentation.
  • Support classification guidance, visit certifications, foreign travel reporting, and proposal-related security requirements.
  • Ensure SCI material is properly controlled, transmitted, transported, packaged, safeguarded, and destroyed.
  • Investigate security incidents and prepare required reports.
  • Build and maintain relationships with government security counterparts.
  • Provide security awareness training as required by regulations and customer requests.
  • Work with IT and the ISSO to ensure equipment entering secure areas is authorized and approved.
  • Support ICD 705 build efforts and collaborate with the ISSO/ISSM on information systems management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of full-time security experience in a SCIF environment covering personnel, physical, information, and basic information assurance.
  • Ability to work independently and apply security principles to identify risks, evaluate vulnerabilities, implement mitigations, and disseminate procedures.
  • Current TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
  • Knowledge of ICDs, SEADs, 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM Rule), and related security regulations and processes.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with government security counterparts.
  • Preferred: completed formal SSO certification and SCIF physical security courses within the last 5 years.
  • Preferred: experience with DISS and Scattered Castles.
  • Preferred: experience using SIMS or other security management tools.
