Description

  • Facilitate hedging for client trading flows while managing risk within the company’s risk appetite.
  • Provide best-in-class client service during client and market interactions.
  • Handle complex trades and continuously optimize execution quality and desk revenue.
  • Monitor crypto market microstructure to identify price gaps and manage exposure to volatility and automated trading activity.
  • Support both electronic and voice trading workflows and help drive technology improvements.
  • Build and optimize pricing, risk models, and governing controls for principal trading exposure management.
  • Contribute to increased automation so traders can focus on complex trades, project work, and client engagement.
  • Follow market narratives and contribute insights to internal research and client engagement efforts.
  • Help inform new products and capabilities for the trading business based on client needs.
  • Respond immediately to changing exposures, client questions, and requests during coverage, including weekends and off-hours.
  • Mentor junior team members and share knowledge across stakeholder teams to avoid single points of failure.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as an OTC trader in the cryptocurrency space.
  • Demonstrated ability to convert institutional prospects into trading clients.
  • Expert knowledge of crypto market microstructure and digital asset trading dynamics.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills and ability to deliver white-glove service.
  • Experience with electronic and voice trading.
  • Comfort using Python to automate manual tasks and modify existing code as needed.
  • Ability to work responsive coverage rotations, including weekends and off-hours.
  • Familiarity with industry trends, regulatory guidelines, and best practices related to trading and settlements.
  • Bonus points for a strong interest in crypto market narratives and specific coins.
  • Bonus points for creativity or familiarity with using memes as a communication style.
