Description

  • Implement products within billing and revenue management to support organizational growth.
  • Contribute to the vision, strategy, and execution of Finance products and services.
  • Drive medium-to-large projects or processes independently, including cross-functional efforts.
  • Break down large initiatives into smaller tasks and estimate scope and timelines accurately.
  • Analyze trade-offs, justify options, and recommend priorities for technical work.
  • Design and build maintainable, extensible solutions for future functionality.
  • Share knowledge across the team and help avoid single points of failure.
  • Mentor and guide teammates within your area of specialization.
  • Communicate and collaborate across team boundaries to solve problems and build working relationships.
  • Support end-to-end delivery with little oversight when needed.

Requirements

  • Real-world experience building complex distributed systems.
  • Deep appreciation for code quality, test infrastructure, and extensible architecture.
  • Strong focus on end-user experience and business value over the latest technology trends.
  • Solid computer science fundamentals, including concurrency, algorithms, and data structures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced agile software environment and context switch between multiple tasks.
  • Enjoys collaborating daily and learning from and mentoring others.
  • Experience implementing products in billing and accounting spaces (preferred).
  • Design and implementation experience with GraphQL, gRPC, or Temporal (preferred).
  • Comfort diving into the stack and open source projects to root-cause bugs (preferred).
  • Formal computer science degree is not required.
