Description

  • Deeply research new cryptoassets and integrate them into Anchorage Digital’s platform.
  • Implement client-facing blockchain features such as staking, governance, and vesting.
  • Develop scalable abstractions that work across multiple crypto networks.
  • Support assets through protocol upgrades and monitor for network-wide issues.
  • Contribute code across the full stack and review code across the engineering organization.
  • Help design a scalable, reproducible, and reliable layer for internal business lines to interact with blockchains.
  • Foster a deterministic testing culture while minimizing tech debt and bureaucracy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and other stakeholders.
  • Influence architecture and product roadmap decisions.
  • Help mentor teammates and contribute to team growth.

Requirements

  • Real-world experience building complex distributed systems.
  • Strong engineering skills; Go is commonly used, but other languages are acceptable.
  • Experience building resilient services that handle varying workloads without manual intervention.
  • Strong code quality and test infrastructure mindset.
  • Comfort diving down the stack and into open source projects to root-cause bugs.
  • Understanding of computer science fundamentals such as concurrency, algorithms, and data structures.
  • Ability to prioritize end-user experience and business value over novelty.
  • Bonus consideration for experience with applied cryptography.
  • Bonus consideration for reading blockchain protocol white papers and staying current with cryptoasset innovations.
  • Bonus consideration for a background in the finance industry.
