Description

  • Provide student support throughout the student life cycle from enrollment through graduation.
  • Execute proactive outreach and retention activities for an assigned student population and manage at-risk students.
  • Provide technical support for MyACE Portal, Canvas, ACE email, and the ACE mobile app.
  • Conduct onboarding activities for new and re-entry students and assist students with financing/payment questions.
  • Respond to inbound student inquiries promptly and resolve program- or success-related issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of programs, policies, and processes to support students effectively.
  • Collaborate with Enrollment, Admissions, Registration, and Academics to address student questions and escalate concerns as needed.
  • Follow and meet expectations outlined in the Student Success Coach Expectation Policy and maintain proactive contact strategies to support student success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Customer service experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation and communication skills and ability to develop professional rapport with students.
  • Strong organization, time management, multi-tasking ability, attention to detail, and capacity to meet tight deadlines while producing a high volume of quality work.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and collaboratively as part of a team; must be self-motivated and adaptable under pressure.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Availability to work the required remote shift schedule (Mon–Thu: 12:00–9:00pm EST / corresponding CST, MST, PST times; Fri: 10:00am–7:00pm EST / corresponding times).
  • Remote work requirements: reliable internet with minimum 50 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload (employee is responsible for purchase, setup, and maintenance).
  • Support for the College’s Impact mission and civic engagement initiatives is required; must comply with ACE’s AI usage reporting policy if AI tools account for >50% of work.
  • Candidates residing in Alaska, Washington D.C., Massachusetts, South Dakota, or Alabama cannot be considered.
