Description

  • Create high-fidelity coded prototypes and interaction models for complex AI-powered workflows.
  • Own high-impact initiatives from concept through production and ship polished product experiences.
  • Lead technical design discussions, make architectural decisions, and guide cross-team implementation efforts.
  • Advance and scale the design system as core product infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to research user requirements and translate them into effective designs.
  • Partner with engineering teams during development to maintain design quality and user experience.
  • Mentor designers and engineers while raising the bar for craft and collaboration.
  • Serve as a connector across design, product, and engineering to navigate tradeoffs and deliver high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in product design, UX/front-end engineering, design systems, or a related discipline.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher; a degree in design, computer science, information sciences, psychology, or human-computer interaction is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with modern front-end technologies such as HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React.
  • Experience building AI and agentic experiences and using AI to accelerate the design and development process.
  • Expertise with modern AI technologies such as MCP, Claude Code, Codex, and Skills.
  • Experience shipping production-ready experiences and influencing technical and design decisions across teams.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and end-to-end customer workflows.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in project leadership, mentorship, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Experience with evolving design systems is preferred.

  • Base salary range of $263,000 to $362,000 USD.
