Description

  • Apply biostatistical methods to support clinical trials and data management across the project life cycle.
  • Provide statistical planning, design, analysis, and reporting in line with project, organizational, and regulatory standards.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for project teams, auditors, and external stakeholders on statistical matters.
  • Carry out statistical analyses and direct programmers in translating results into biomedical terms.
  • Prepare statistical data outputs and contribute to reports, research papers, publications, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Academic Research to develop and present novel biometrical trial technologies and findings.
  • Provide guidance on study policies, protocols, implementation timelines, data interpretation, and publication planning.
  • Work with the data management team to ensure captured data aligns with project protocols and requirements.
  • Prepare statistical analysis plans, including sample size, randomization, shells, and methodology.
  • Lead, assign, and support a team of statisticians and SAS programmers, including performance management and training.

Requirements

  • Minimum undergraduate degree with professional certifications.
  • 4-6 years of professional experience in statistics or a related field.
  • Master’s degree in Statistics or Biostatistics preferred.
  • PhD with research experience is a strong asset.
  • Experience in industry or an academic setting is preferred.
  • Very strong communication skills are required.
  • Experience supporting clinical research, clinical trials, or biometrical study work is expected.
  • Ability to use standard software packages for statistical analysis and reporting is required.
  • Experience in research publication, reporting, or presentations is preferred.
  • Experience leading, coaching, mentoring, or managing staff is preferred.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $89,000 - $148,000 per year.
  • Remote work opportunity based in Canada or the USA.
  • Full-time, permanent position.
