Description

  • Lead and support software developers and testers as a hands-on people manager while contributing to delivery work as needed.
  • Partner with Product Management and Project Management to prepare backlogs, clarify dependencies, and turn priorities into executable plans.
  • Manage coaching, performance feedback, development planning, hiring, and onboarding for team members.
  • Monitor delivery health, risks, and dependencies, and escalate issues to keep outcomes predictable and reliable.
  • Oversee software integration activities involving hardware and firmware components for clinical imaging solutions.
  • Collaborate with hardware specialists, vendors, and partner teams to support integration, validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Drive continuous improvement in development and testing workflows, tools, and engineering practices.
  • Lead QA activities including test planning, execution, defect management, and test automation strategies.
  • Track quality indicators such as defect trends, test coverage, release stability, and post-release issues.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Project, Solution Architecture, and support teams to align delivery and resolve defects.

Requirements

  • 7–9 years of related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Fluent in written and verbal English.
  • 3+ years of experience managing and developing technical teams.
  • 3+ years of experience delivering and maintaining multiple production software products.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience building and supporting backend and frontend applications.
  • 3+ years of experience delivering production systems across distinct technology stacks and deployment models.
  • 3+ years of experience leading or overseeing software QA testing activities.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting software integration with hardware and firmware.
  • Experience with evolving technology ecosystems and legacy-to-modern platform transitions.
  • Preferred: 2+ years delivering software in regulated environments such as GxP or GCP.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of exposure to security, privacy, and compliance standards such as HIPAA or GDPR.
  • Preferred: Experience contributing to AI-enabled or data-driven applications in a clinical, research, or healthcare context.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience implementing or expanding test automation within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with validation expectations for regulated clinical software systems.

Benefits

  • Remote full-time, permanent position.
  • Salary range of $95,500 to $159,000 per year.
