Description

  • Advise internal and external clients on statistical planning, study design, data analyses, reporting, and interpretation.
  • Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand statistical and clinical needs and translate them into actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare statistical analysis plans and oversee project data collection, management, and analysis.
  • Review, edit, and help prepare statistical sections of study synopses, protocols, reports, publications, and presentations.
  • Provide critique and recommendations for study design based on innovative methods, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support project teams by identifying implementation gaps and helping stakeholders close them.
  • Develop and deliver statistical education materials, slides, reports, presentations, and webinars for non-statistical audiences.
  • Contribute thought leadership through scientific publications, website content, conferences, and congress presentations.
  • Support business development by participating in client meetings, proposal development, and bid defense preparation.
  • Work with Statistics and Medical Research and Development teams to develop new clinical trial designs, processes, and methodologies.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree required.
  • 4-6 years of related experience required.
  • Advanced degree in Statistics or Biostatistics is considered an asset.
  • Ability to communicate abstract statistical concepts clearly to non-statistical audiences.
  • Highly refined oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Experience working in clinical research or clinical trial settings is implied by the role.
  • Knowledge of statistical methods, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to contribute to proposal development and client-facing discussions.

Benefits

  • Remote-based position.
  • Eligible candidates may be based in Canada or the USA.
  • Full-time, permanent role.
  • Salary range of $110,500 to $184,000 per year.
