Description

  • Design, build, and operate solutions that continuously improve and automate security capabilities.
  • Use data to identify trends, metrics, and opportunities to improve the security posture and execute improvements with stakeholders.
  • Lead incident response efforts, including analysis, containment, mitigation, and remediation of security incidents.
  • Design, implement, and maintain IAM solutions for authentication, authorization, and provisioning across diverse platforms.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align IAM solutions with organizational security requirements.
  • Help craft and refine security documentation such as policies, standards, baselines, and standard operating procedures.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers or analysts.

Requirements

  • BS/BTech or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or 8 years of security domain experience without a degree.
  • 6+ years of experience in software or security engineering within cloud-native environments.
  • 4+ years of experience working with large datasets to improve security posture or detect, investigate, and respond to threats.
  • 4+ years of experience acting as a trusted advisor in a team setting to solve for short-term and long-term business value.
  • 4+ years of experience coaching other engineers or analysts.
  • Experience with Identity and Access Management systems and practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of authentication protocols, authorization mechanisms, and directory services.
  • Strong proficiency implementing IAM solutions within very complex environments.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and security standards.
  • Experience generating automated metrics to measure service and program effectiveness and consistency.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex security issues to diverse audiences.
  • Automation skills with PowerShell, Python, and Terraform.
  • Expertise with Okta products, including Directory, SSO, MFA, Workflows, ISPM, and IGA.
  • Experience with security stack tools such as Auth0, Entra ID, Ping Identity, and cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
