Description

  • Lead EHR optimization efforts by assessing current practice workflows and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Help practices better use existing EHR and third-party systems to support strategic ACO initiatives.
  • Implement point-of-care population health tools that work alongside EHR systems.
  • Support practices with MIPS compliance and quality reporting.
  • Provide EHR expertise by identifying templates, custom reports, and other approaches for specific clinical and operational aims.
  • Create or update educational materials to help practice staff use EHR systems more effectively.
  • Stay current on EHR vendor updates related to population health management.
  • Develop and support EHR-system-specific user groups to share best practices and training opportunities.
  • Facilitate data capture, exchange, integrations, interfaces, and data-sharing strategies for assigned practices.
  • Independently manage multiple projects and communicate progress to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver concise training and presentations to audiences ranging from executives to frontline staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; significant relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • 4-6 years of client-facing project lead experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and enhancing customer relationships.
  • Previous implementation or optimization experience with top-tier ambulatory EHRs and practice management software.
  • Preferred experience with Epic Ambulatory, NextGen, Athena, Greenway, or eClinicalWorks.
  • Strong understanding of practice workflow.
  • Depth of knowledge in at least one top-tier ambulatory EHR solution.
  • Ability to travel periodically.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
