Description

  • Build and own package-level unit economics data models covering margin contribution, breakage rates, cost dynamics, and profitability across markets, corridors, and packages.
  • Develop analytical datasets and reporting for structured pricing reviews, including margin waterfalls, competitive positioning dashboards, demand signals, and conversion sensitivity analysis.
  • Integrate competitive pricing data from scraped and third-party sources into queryable models for automated benchmarking and price distance analysis.
  • Define and maintain the semantic layer and metrics definitions for pricing and commercial domains across Lightdash and downstream analytics tools.
  • Write Python-based tooling for simulations, scenario analyses, pricing rule engines, and automated competitive monitoring scripts.
  • Design measurement-ready datasets to support A/B testing, controlled pricing pilots, and experimentation infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to scale ELT workflows and improve CDR digestion pipelines for pricing-critical reporting.
  • Partner with Commercial Pricing, Networks, Finance, and Growth teams to translate pricing strategy into data products and self-service analytics.
  • Implement testing, documentation, and monitoring to ensure data quality and trust in pricing and commercial reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, economics, mathematics, computer science, or similar.
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or analytics roles with significant modeling responsibilities.
  • 2–3 years of direct experience working with pricing in pricing analytics, commercial pricing, revenue optimization, or pricing data infrastructure.
  • Strong proficiency in Python for data transformation, analytical tooling, automation, and production-quality scripts.
  • Strong SQL and data modeling skills, with experience designing robust, scalable dimensional models.
  • Hands-on experience with dbt Core or dbt Cloud for transformation logic, testing, and documentation.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as BigQuery and orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or similar.
  • Experience with modern BI platforms and semantic layers; Lightdash experience is a strong plus.
  • Experience with self-service analytics and enabling non-technical stakeholders to explore data independently.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex data concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Must reside in and be fully eligible to work in Spain or the UK.
  • Experience in telecom, SaaS, fintech, or marketplace environments is preferred.
