Description

  • Own the end-to-end data architecture for the Data Warehouse Foundation for BI, reporting, and AI-first consumption.
  • Lead data modeling across all 11 departments and create canonical enterprise data models for cross-functional use.
  • Design the contextual intelligence layer, including RAG architecture, vector store strategy, knowledge ingestion, and unstructured data processing.
  • Build and maintain the agentic data integration layer, including real-time access patterns, memory and state persistence, and output integration.
  • Own the AI/ML feature layer, including feature engineering standards, training data pipelines, feature store architecture, and model output integration.
  • Design and govern operational data and GPT context feeds, including freshness, access SLAs, and cross-department data reuse standards.
  • Lead the Data Warehouse Foundation build with the external consulting team and ensure the implementation follows AI-first architecture principles.
  • Design and manage ingestion, ELT/ETL, and orchestration pipelines across source systems with attention to reliability, performance, and cost.
  • Establish AI data engineering standards, quality assurance processes, and reusable pipeline components across the organization.
  • Own data access policy design and least-privilege controls in partnership with Security, and define data quality monitoring for AI-consumed data.
  • Partner with infrastructure, BI, FP&A, AI Agent Engineering, and GPT teams to align architecture, semantic layers, and orchestration needs.
  • Manage the AI Ops data architecture roadmap and translate business requirements into prioritized technical work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field required.
  • 7–10 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or a related technical function.
  • At least 3 years of experience focused on AI or ML data infrastructure.
  • Snowflake experience required; experience with dbt, Airflow or equivalent orchestration, and ELT/ETL pipeline design.
  • Demonstrated experience designing data architecture for AI consumption, such as vector databases, embedding pipelines, RAG systems, or feature stores.
  • Strong data modeling skills across dimensional, normalized, and AI-optimized schema paradigms.
  • Experience building and operating real-time or near-real-time data pipelines for operational AI use cases.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL, with cloud data infrastructure experience on AWS required.
  • Experience designing data access patterns and governance controls for AI systems, including least-privilege access and audit logging.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technical programs and communicate complex architecture decisions to executives and stakeholders.
  • SaaS industry experience required.
  • Experience in private equity-backed SaaS organizations preferred.
  • Experience with agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph, Mastra, or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience building or operating production-scale RAG architectures preferred.
  • Experience with agent memory architectures and state persistence design preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI governance and compliance requirements for automated decision-making preferred.
  • Experience supporting executive-level AI progress reporting from a technical infrastructure perspective preferred.
  • Experience with Tines or equivalent no-code/low-code orchestration platforms preferred.
  • Exposure to contract lifecycle management, legal tech, or professional services data domains preferred.
