Description

  • Develop and maintain program budgets, forecasts, cost estimates, financial baselines, and Estimates at Completion (EACs).
  • Monitor program costs, revenue, and profitability against budgets and forecasts.
  • Prepare financial reports, variance analyses, and corrective-action recommendations for management and external customers.
  • Partner with program managers to develop EACs and align cost and schedule performance.
  • Track and forecast labor, material, and overhead costs to identify trends and financial risks.
  • Support proposal development and pricing in alignment with company policies and cost structures.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, applicable government accounting standards, and financial procedures.
  • Coordinate with accounting, contracts, and operations on billing, revenue recognition, and funding status.
  • Support monthly and quarterly financial reviews, audits, and reporting requirements.
  • Improve financial reporting and program-control processes and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, program control, or project accounting.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI DoD security clearance.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, and forecasting principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, solve problems, and maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in government contracting or manufacturing (preferred).
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and earned value management (EVM) principles (preferred).
