Description

  • Serve as the teacher of record and primary instructor.
  • Deliver live lessons via web conference based on student needs.
  • Set up courses in the Learning Management System.
  • Monitor asynchronous student progress and grade assignments daily.
  • Track and maintain regular contact with students.
  • Collaborate with the principal to create and deliver student progress reports.
  • Review student-level data and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
  • Communicate regularly with families about academic and social-emotional growth.
  • Participate in and attend non-instructional activities, including in-person events, testing, social events, and field trips.

Requirements

  • Current Oklahoma state teaching license in the appropriate content area.
  • Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
  • Preferred: 2 years of teaching experience.
  • High comfort working in a growth-focused coaching environment with frequent observations, debriefs, action planning, and progress monitoring.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage confidential information properly.
  • Ability to stand for up to 90 minutes at a time.
  • Ability to supervise students in all school settings.
  • Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks.
  • Experience working in a multicultural setting preferred.
  • Oklahoma residency required.
