Description

  • Recruit, hire, and scale a world-class team of sellers on time and on budget.
  • Enable and manage sellers to meet key productivity metrics and growth milestones.
  • Drive disciplined pipeline generation using field sales, marketing, channel partners, and sales development resources.
  • Develop and execute an overall account strategy for the region that promotes strong execution and collaborative team selling.
  • Partner with Sales Engineering to deliver persuasive product demonstrations and a repeatable proof-of-concept/technology validation program.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships focused on value realization, high renewal rates, rapid upsell expansion, and customer referrals.
  • Forecast monthly and quarterly revenue to executive leadership using disciplined deal inspection and forecasting methodology.
  • Develop and nurture strategic relationships with existing channel partners and identify/develop new channel partnerships.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of sales experience with a demonstrated track record of exceeding quotas selling security, networking, and/or software solutions.
  • Minimum 3+ years leading a sales team focused on new business and new logo acquisition.
  • Proven hunter mentality with direct experience managing teams responsible for creating demand, acquiring new customers, and sourcing new pipeline.
  • Track record of closing complex sales involving multiple buying influences in new or emerging solution categories.
  • Experience managing and closing deals of $50K+ and higher-value transactions above $100K+.
  • Experience establishing and fostering relationships with partners and customers at executive levels.
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical features into business value.
  • Familiarity with consultative, value-based sales methodologies (e.g., Force Management, Challenger Sale) is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a highly fast-paced environment and accountable to consistent over-achievement.
  • This is a remote role; Abnormal AI has no physical offices in Canada and this position is not eligible for immigration assistance.
