Description

  • Facilitate communication with client project stakeholders on project status and recommendations.
  • Lead migration of legacy JavaScript code to TypeScript.
  • Architect and develop new features for the React Native application using modern best practices.
  • Optimize the app for offline-first functionality using local databases and caching strategies.
  • Work with Redux for state management and integrate it with the existing architecture.
  • Use Expo to streamline development workflows and manage app deployment.
  • Design and implement efficient GraphQL queries and mutations for data fetching.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver a mobile experience.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
  • Stay current with trends in React Native, TypeScript, Expo, and mobile development.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 4 years focused on React Native.
  • Proven experience with TypeScript.
  • Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, including middleware like Redux Thunk or Redux Saga, and RTK Toolkit.
  • Solid understanding of mobile app performance optimization techniques.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on clean, maintainable code.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Very good English proficiency.
  • Hands-on experience with Expo for React Native application development (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of local databases such as SQLite or Realm and offline-first mobile app strategies (preferred).
  • Proficiency with GraphQL APIs such as Apollo Client or Relay (preferred).
