Description

  • Lead hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes for staff.
  • Maintain accurate employee documentation and records.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions about time off, missed hours, and general HR matters.
  • Communicate regularly with team members by phone, WhatsApp, or Google Call.
  • Partner with outsourced HR to support compliance and best practices.
  • Upload, maintain, and update schedules in the operations system.
  • Review and adjust clock-in and clock-out hours to ensure timekeeping accuracy.
  • Support payroll readiness by helping ensure weekly time records are correct.
  • Assist Area Managers with operational coordination and follow-through.
  • Organize Google Drive folders, shared documents, spreadsheets, and tracking tools.
  • Flag issues proactively and help resolve problems before they escalate.

Requirements

  • Experience providing HR support in a U.S. labor-based business.
  • Experience in people-heavy operations such as cleaning, hospitality, or a similar environment preferred.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong skills in Google Drive and spreadsheets.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Comfort speaking with staff daily.
  • Ability to work core hours from 7:00–11:00 a.m. EST, Monday through Friday.
  • Availability for two hours on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00–9:00 a.m.
  • Self-directed, accountable, and proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with HR, payroll, and operations.
  • Experience navigating U.S. labor and HR compliance, ideally in NYC, preferred.
